Spine In Mind 66 minutes Vinyasa yoga style class is bringing awareness to our spine. This morning sequence moves the spine in the right way and in the same time loosen up our whole body. If our muscles and surrounding tissues near the spine become stiff over time, we experience decreased range of motion and discomfort.  Using abdominal efforts in twists while bringing space between the vertebrae are beneficial to lift up our energy and create a sense of well-being as we freedom our lower back.

Description

Warm up – mainly for the spine with gentle twists, side motions and Cat-Cow. Sun Salutations and variations.

Work – Warrior I and Twist. High Lunge Variation. Intense Side Stretch. Gentle Revolved Triangle. Warrior II. Side Plank. Reverse Warrior. Wide Legged Forward Bend and Variations. Goddess. Forearm Plank. Side Forearm Plank. Triangle. Bird Of Paradise. Twist Chair. Side Crow. Tree. Warrior III. Half Moon.  

Reset and Cool Down on the floor.    

4 minutes of Corpse pose.
