This 60 minutes class brings poses in back bending in the second half part of the practice. 

Backbend nourishes the spine mobility in the direction of its extension. At its opposite side, it stretches the abdominal muscles. This anatomical link, west (back) and east (front) sides, increases oxygen and energy levels and helps to alleviate back and neck pain. 

As it opens the heart center which is the center of the energy system of the human body, it makes you more receptive to relationships and experiences.

Description

Warm up. Sun Salutations.

Cobra – Downward Facing Dog Poses is an easy, gentle way to warm up the spine.  

Work – High Crescent Lunge. Chair and Chair with twist. Warrior series, Wide-Legged variations, Half Moon, Locust, Camel, Bridge, Bow, Wheel, and more.

Reset of the spine and cool down on the floor.   

The corpse pose would be on your own in your sacred space at home for 5-10 minutes at the end.

Required: yoga mat, water
