Yin Yoga – Vagal Tone

Original price was: $15.00.Current price is: $1.00.

Vagal tone is an internal biological process that represents the activity of the vagus nerve, the 10th cranial nerve, and a fundamental component of the parasympathetic branch of the autonomic nervous system. Having a higher vagal tone means that your body can relax faster after stress. Yogis, for example, have a higher vagal tone, and as a result, will have a slow resting heart rate.

This 61 minute starts with subtle inner vibrations to awaken the energy that nurtures and protects the mind, body, and soul. Following are the yin poses to practice with a few variations in the purpose of reaching out the vagus nerve.
