This 61 minutes starts with 10 minutes of gentle kriya-warm-up motions while attention is at the breath.  From there, first we keep in mind the spine then the hips and the inner light to cultivate self love. With practice and with time, both yin asanas and feeling good about who you are will come naturally.

As we hold poses we work on let go of stress and tension to open the heart and soften the mind for the self love and forgiveness.

Description

Kriyas (warm ups) – Auspicious or easy cross-legged – soften and breath awareness. 3 OM. Cat-Cow. (10 minutes)

Yin – Caterpillar. Knee-To-Chest Fire Breath. Supine Legs Up and Out – Strap.  Straddle – Lateral bend and Forward bend. Frog. Tadpole. (44 minutes)

Final corpse pose (7 minutes). 

Required:  yoga mat, strap or towel, water

Optional: one block, bolster, or cushion, eye pillow, blanket
