This unique handmade 16″ wood mandala of the five koshas (5 sheaths) is finished on the front side with with a coat of epoxy resin and on the backside in black color covered with an acrylic sealer.

In Eastern philosophy, the koshas are considered the energetic layers of your body that surround your soul. Sometimes, they’re referred to as “sheaths” or “casings.”  There are five koshas in the human body. Each body is made up of increasingly subtler degrees of energy: from the physical body to the energetic body, to the mental body, to the wisdom body, and finally, to the bliss body.
