Here, the student does a blend of spine poses to ease back pain and calm the Chitta (cosmic energy which governs all mental functions).  Yin yoga is a wonderful practice for releasing deeply held tension in the body and fatigue of the mind. The spine plays a crucial role in all movements that the body creates on a day-to-day basis.
